Roman Slavik is a freelance photographer and world traveler with passion for landscape and cityscape photography. What Roman enjoys most is when he is waiting for the first rays of the sun to appear in the early morning and everything around is waking up. There’s something so exciting being in a city before the day’s energy has kicked in.
Roman’s growing portfolio contains city photos from New York, San Francisco, Paris, Hong Kong, London, landscape photos from Iceland, Southwest USA, Italy and much more. His unique signature style is created by using HDR technology to produce most of the pictures. This technology enables him to capture a scene and produce a picture as seen in real life by a human eye.
His photographs can be found printed in Lonely Planet guides, accompanying articles on Business Insider and are used all around the world by number of companies as well as decorating walls in the apartments, houses and offices.
In 2013, Roman’s picture of waterfall from Iceland was awarded with the GOLD Award at FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year 2013. 2015 was a big year for travelling all around the globe and saw the biggest success in Roman’s career so far… He won GOLDEN Camera Award at FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year 2015. In 2018 Roman won SILVER Camera Award at FEP European Professional Photographer of the Year and proved his ability to produce outstanding photographs for a whole decade.
